Hi guys, appreciate your views on below.

Most AirBnBs I have come across that fit within my budget are basements. Since the basement is a separate unit and there won't be any dealings with the people living upstairs, would that qualify as a proper quarantine facility? of course, the basement facilities such as laundry should also be ensuite.

Thanks
yes that is fine. Would be best if it has a seperate entrance.

Hi All,

I have a valid COPR approved before 18 March 2020,and I am planning to travel in September. I am aware of the quarantine plan and I have one too but it came to our notice that usually people show their Airbnb or hotel booking to the border officer. In my case I have family friends who are out of Canada for a month and are offering me their place to stay. The question is how to satisfy the border officer regarding that ?

You don’t need a booking confirmation. You can ask your friends to send you an email saying that they are letting you stay at their home while they are out of town and their address but I don’t think you’ll be asked to show anything.
