I have a couple of questions on my mind for which I could not find the answers on other threads, so I ve started this thread.
Some background about me, I am an international student in Quebec and will be eligible to apply for QSW in a couple of months. Here are a couple of doubts I have in mind.
1. I am getting married this May in my home country. Is it possible for me to apply for QSW including my wife who is in my home country? Since I am applying from here in Quebec, my processing time would be around 15 months for CSQ right(the ETA here)?
2. Would there be a problem if I am applying for Spousal open work permit because I have applied to CSQ for me and for my wife? specifically for the reason of home ties?? Please throw some light on whether PR application would be looked at or taken into consideration while evaluating for open work permit?
3. Should I compulsorily live in Quebec while my application for CSQ or federal PR is being processed? i.e. basically if I get a job in some other province and I take up that job, my application would not be processed? Since I would have studied in Quebec, Can I show that I intend to settle in Quebec?
Please provide particular and general suggestions regarding what I could possibly do.
