Hello Saied,

I have already submitted DELF A2. But, I am worried that whether they will calculated my score as per 16/25 rule. As quebec2011 has informed, that even though he has applied in October 2010, BIQ has assessed his DELF B1 according to new rule (16/25 rule). That's why, I am worried. :(
If you submit a language cert. they will assess ur french as per the cert you have sent, otherwise if you would have not submitted any lang cert then they would have evaluated your lang as per old rule.

Yes, that is not correct. But, at the implementation of new rule, they had declared the this new rule ( 16/25 rule + mandatory language test) will be effective for those, who have applied after 5th december and not for those, who applied before. New rule constitute (16/25 rule + mandatory language test). These 16/25 rule and mandatory language test are not the separate formula. But, according to you this is separate. I want to assure that both rule (16/25 rule and mandatory language test) have been implemented by BIQ at a time on december 5th. Moreover, at the time of your application, candidate should check GPI for that month. That means August candidate should check GPI for August, Candiate for December should check GPI for December. Before September, no where in GPI, it is mentioned (16/25 rule and mandatory language test). hence, BIQ should not consider any of these rule before September applicants.

But for quebec2011, BIQ has implemented new rule. That's why the concern. :(

Yes the have used the new rule in evaluation of my DELF B1 result as I had 12/25 in listening part and 19/25 in speaking so they have given me 7/16 points. Though I had claimed 12/16 points which is B2, Now I am preparing my appeal papers Hope that work.

Previously it was not mandatory to send french result then they should call me to interview to see my french level as I am in this level now perfectly but I have shortage of time otherwise I am ready to take Delf B2 exam in Mid Feb.

Good luck

Welcome to the waiting queue.

If your area of training is not in the demand list then keep at least 1.5 year in your mind for the CSQ interview otherwise if you wait everyday for the update then life becomes horrable. so my suggestion to you is Enjoy your life and don't be bothered about the update at all.

Good luck

Hello quebec2011,

Thanks for your update. Can you please send personal message to shahi, Geribubaboy, Caribgrl55, ahmed1346 to know what has been happened in their case. Then it will make you appeal papers stronger.

I have already consulted with many senior members in this forum or in others and I have got some clues on how to do the appeal more logically. thanks my friend I will let you its result once I get something.

Good luck

Be positive bro ;D

My Question is, if they are lookin at french points in depth and docs r clear then why a interview ???? Everyone is getting a interview why is that???they directly issue csq right????

Whateva points system they are looking for now should be implemented for candidates who apply after dec 15th 2011. It does not make sense calculating the same for applicants who applied before 5th dec. Honestly saying the system they implemented on Dec 5th 2011, i would have given a 2nd thought before applying. :(

Am losing hope on this now. Hope i am called for interview :( so that i can justify myself, i have not written Delf but taken special conversational classes from last 4 months thinking they will call me for the interview and attended A1 level classes @ AFB :( things are heading nowhere now :(

I regret now :(
Hope some good news from BIQ HK.

Hey Good Morning all,

I have also applied for QSW in Septemeber 2011 and received my first AOR on 31st October, cleared DELF A1 with 12/25 in listening and 19/25 in Speaking. So i will be in the same boat as HEC0006 and few other members.

I was planning to take DELF A2 in Feb 2012 but now thinking to work little hard and will apply in May due to new rules.
I am not sure whether they will calculate my points according to new rules or old rules but will try to score 16/25 in both modules.

I have already reach to 57 point if i don't give any exam, but still want to reach at least DELF B1 to make myself more confident during the interview.

If anyone have DELF A2 materials can you please send me the PM?

has anyone applied for CAIPS?
