One question i had was: Is there anybody on this forum who obtained CSQ from a particular country and them submitted to a different country for federal processing. I obtained CSQ from Buffalo office and have now submitted the application to the New Delhi consulate. The CIC website of course says this is ok, but wanted to see if there were any similar applicants and if they had to deal with any issues.

Hi Guys,
I received below email from NDVO yesterday:

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

This acknowledges your request for the return of your passport. It will be returned to you by registered mail at your designated mailing address in India, Nepal or Bhutan, leaving our office within the next five business days.

When should I be expecting my PP? are they gonna dispatch my PP after 5 days or as stated within 5 days ( I cant trust them anymore )
Please share your experience whoever received similar email from NDVO

Hi guys,
I would like to know if in worst cases I could not find job in province of Quebec and if I move to other province for the sake of job, will I face any legal action by govt of Quebec in terms of notice or even cancellation of my PR card?

Recently I have read below article which although is related to Entrepreneur Class of Quebec but made me to think "do I have to starve in Quebec only, if god forbid I dont find job in Quebec? "

Hi Saeid,

I went through the reply which you got from New Delhi CHC. I am sorry but as per it, they are just returning your passport as you requested ( that's what i infered from New Delhi CHC reply) and there is no indication that it has been stamped.

Not sure if this is not the case and you are getting your visa stamped: )

By the way, I am also QSW and sent my passort in Nov 2011 to New Delhi CHC. It is more than 5 month and no update from their side.

No, my previous email to embassy was to send back my passport with visa and following that they replied me with that email... they never told me that they are not going to issue me visa or my visa has not yet issued (my RPRF encashed on sept2011)
My enquiry was whether anyone has received any such email till now? because I wanted to know how long it will take so that I receive my passport.
Please dont provide such comments if you are not confident otherwise someone might get heart attack

Hi Saeid,

Believe me, intention was not to give heart attack. Was just highlighting the concern. As I have read lots of similar post for PNP candidate who have applied to Delhi CHC and got their passport back without stamping.

Obv. they would ask the passport later on once the person case is really all done and just need stamping. Please remember, as per canadian laws, they can't hold somoone's passport for more than 45 days. This is different story that these same people dont follow it in our part of world.

Believe me I would be more happy if they sent you stamped visa as I am in the similar boat as my RPRF was enchashed in Sept 2011 and passport and Medical results reached to them in Nov 2011.

Your success would give me confidence that i am next in line

Today, to my surprise, status is showing as "Decision Made" in ECAS. I am so happy.

My timelines:
Category : QSW
Federal processing: App submitted on 21 Sept 2011.
Medical done: 18 Nov 2011.
PPR: 18 Nov 2011.
In Process : 30th Apr 2012
Decision Made: 7 May 2012

Yes. I got my passport with Visa on 10th May. I hope u also get your visa soon.
One question: Did you get ur passport which CHC was supposed to returned to you.
