btw - by the way - anways i sent my application on 14th April, AOR date - 19th may, 6th Sep - medical request, medical done -13th Sep, 23 Sep - Medical received status update.

Status has not changed, it still says in process on ecas

Does anyone know why an application would be sent to a different VO? I had sent my application to Sydney NS VO but they sent the application to Ottawa VO.

Are you inland applicant? If Yes , then that's normal for inland applicants. Applicants from all over the world send application to Sydney , Sydney Office does preliminary review and then routes applications to VO relevant to applicant. For Inland + USA applicants processing is done in Ottawa.

Sometimes few applications are transferred from "relevant" VO to "another" VO to reduce workload on "relevant" VO. For ex- File of one of the forum member from India was transferred from New Delhi VO to London VO.

Thank you for your reply. Yes I am an inland applicant. I also read while back on one these threads and spreadsheet of timelines, that Ottawa VO tends to process applications much faster than other VO. I maybe mistaken.

. I got my CoPR in Feb 2017. My CSQ was expired by then and I sent a letter to Quebec Immigration requesting a new copy. I had been waiting for a response for last 2 months.

Today I called them and they told me that I need some kind of attestation and not a new CSQ. She told me that she will send a link for this. So far I haven't got it. Is there anyone else who know about this issue?


I would like to do my landing asap... I may have to relocate within my company. Should I go to the border and trying landing with expired CSQ? Will it work? I have been living in Montreal for last few years.

Many folks have landed and were never asked for their csq...So maybe (maybe) , it isn't an issue if you have it expired as long as you have your permanent residence confirmation.

Rather than going till border why don't you check at border immigration at Airport if they can be of any help ?

Apparently may people received MR during last week of March and first week of April. No response to my application. Just making me nervous.
