Hi guys, I was recently caught at Canadian border (airport) for having an apple and a pear (by mistake) and was let off with a warning but I now have a record of that on passport, will that cause any issue/s with my pr application? Also is there a time limit for holding that kind of record on my profile? Its just stressing me out

Hello everyone
I'm sending my federal application in a day or two. Do I need to send any envelopes with papers ?

hello APPNO2014NY

we can select the doctor for medical according to panel list(according near own city)or immigration already show the Doctor name.

As far as I know any CIC panel doctor will work.

Hi genconian13, always trust the CIC page first. I don't remember seeing a request for it, nor have I sent it when I sent mine a few months back.

I am afraid none of us will hear anything from CIC until 2017. I've been waiting since 4 January 2016. GCMS notes from August 2016 say I appear to be ready for CoPR. No further actions have been undertaken though.

Thats frustrating.. appears ready then why they are not sending the email of CoPR.

Doesn't surprise me... I'm aiming at the 13, 14 months described at the site, so I won't worry (not desperately anyway) before April or May '17.

Hi Hoback and usefuluser,

We have no other choice but waiting and waiting. I paid RPRF on April 22, 2016 and no news since then.
I do not know why CIC says it takes 12 months....I guess it should take at least 13 to 15 months for most applicants.

True but all the friends I know got their PR within 10 months which is unfair

My due date from GCMS is today but again I don't expect any revolutionary actions from CIC until the new immigration quota comes into force.
