Jacob,
I would say YES. You as the PA have to appear for a French test to add more value to your prestigious Nursing File. You might or might not be given a waiver with the 69 points without French. From my opinion, you might have a 20% chance for a waiver and an 80% chance to be called up for interview. As nurses, you and your spouse shall be treated as priority, yes. But not all priority files get an interview waiver. Instead, you gonna be called for an interview pretty faster like say 9 months to 1 year, than other files with AOTs that don't fetch 12 or 16 points.

You yourself can learn the French at an agency, and teach your spouse basic French at home because don't be surprised you are called for an interview and the VO asks your spouse where she lives and works, in French language.

The watchword for you: Forwarned is Forearmed!!

Everything above is barely my own view and opinion....Not the standard!!!

Hope it helped anyways!!

Stylove.

Thank you Stylove! You are the best! :-)

I got a federal file number today ;) Should be a good sign. Seems that things are going smooth until now and even more than I expected.
Had to call FBI yesterday to ask about my clearance, but in the US all document requests and everything takes very long. I suppose they won't decline my fingerprints that were taken with in an "ancient" style with a dye instead of luminescent element :). But even then I got a federal case opened up. Wish everyone here gets the same timeline in terms of speed! Yeeha ;D

Hi Ievgen,

Congrats on getting everything inline. Have you submitted French? So it just took 4 months to get the CSQ from the date you filed?

Thanks.

Thanks. I submitted B1 french and it really took 4 months to get a CSQ. However, it's still long way to go because the processing time is 16 months from the moment when federal AOR is gotten.

Getting your CSQ was fast! :-) How many points did you get?
