depends on your AOT. If AOT is in demand, you will receive priority processing.

Thanks Bosschips.
I applied in Nursing AOT. Do you have any information about processing time?

Thanks

Application was filed on 24 July 2013.

Now the wait and real preparation begins.

Wishing other forumites positive updates as well

Friends, is it possible to study french on my own? Or would it be very difficult?

It is possible to study on your own if you have the right book and cd since it's fairly easy on the beginner side, however, it gets harder. I would suggest, however, that you enroll in a course or find a teacher because it's hard to learn all the intonations, enunciations and pronunciations if you don't have a live teacher to teach you the basics.

@preferred,

Congratulations

Congratulations! :) I'm so jealous, I still don't have my AOR. Wonder why it's taking this long for me. :'(

I actually enrolled in a 40-hour course but was having a difficult time managing my time because of work. I wasn't able to attend around 16 hours. I already bought a book and have Pimsleur French but haven't started on using them yet. I will take your advice and maybe enroll again in a different class once I gain more knowledge from self-studying.

Thank you! :)

Thanks. Are you sure your AOR is not in transit :)? Most likely when you receive it, you will discover it was already in transit as at today.

Hi guys
I have a question. By my calculation i can get 58 points without adaptability and french test result.
Can i apply for qsw now and provide the french test results later ?

Thanks Iev. Your posts have been helpful. I watch TV5 now though I wasn't the one you suggested it to ;). I need to really put some finesse to my speaking (B2) and work hard on the listening (A2).

I have contacted my professional Ordre too. I plan sending the remaining documents by the end of this month. Really towing your path on this QSW project :)
