I did not have a French diploma. In fact, technically, I think I didn't even get any points for French language due to the rule changes. Fortunately, I regained the points that I lost (6 points) when they bumped my AOT from 6 to 12 (Computer Engineering). Perhaps, this change put me in a higher priority class. I was a little bit surprised that I got my interview date so quickly. In fact, I was a little worried that I wouldn't be prepared for the CSQ interview as I hadn't prepared for the interview as I expected a much later date.

I'm really impressed with your timeline. It just goes to show that you have very straightforward documents. Good job! :) Could you share some interview insights? :)

I used Campbell Cohen, and they are very thorough when it comes to checking that my documents are correct. Any data that was in error or wasn't completely clear they would question and make me clarify. At times it was annoying because it delayed my sending of the application by a few days or so. However, I'm glad they did because I have never had any problems with my documents. I had 53 points going into my interview (only needed 2 points), so I'm not sure how helpful my interview experience is for most. Most of my interview was in English. My advice would be to convince the interviewer that you are putting some effort into learning French. Furthermore, it would be helpful to do some research about Quebec in general, especially relating to your area of training (job market, certifications/licensure, etc.).

Here's my interview experience:

Dear all, i sent my application Nov 2013 and i got a letter on 14 May 2014 with my file number stating that my DD has expired and must send a new one. But since 1st Jan 2014 the fee has revised to $ 757 for primary applicant and $ 162 for spouse. So, now i should take a DD of revised fee structure or same as in the old DD???? Please reply me ASAP. I am going to send it today itself. Thanks in advance.
