This means, for example, that as we reform the points grid for the selection of skilled workers to put more emphasis on language proficiency for those who want to work in licensed professions, to put more emphasis on younger workers who we know succeed better over time in Canada, to put more emphasis on Canadian as opposed to foreign work experience, we will be able to apply those criteria to those who are already in the queue".

i think they already started the priority selection process ( back side ) - just announced yet.

Dear that is just one example... bad news is.... they ought to apply ALL new regulations to the previous applications, be it education evaluation, language proficiency, and so on.

This is what I understand from his speech.

It also means if a doctor (previous applicant) who has got overall 7 bands in IELTS, but only 6 bands in speaking, will be in trouble if they say that the doctors will now have to score 7 bands each in speaking, listening, reading & writing.

It won't be fair if the rules are applied to applicants in queue, they should be processed according to the rules they applied under. I think it is fair to ask high language proficiency for regulated professions and i also like the idea to bring in young immigrants.

Hi, Any one here who can reply to my query. my file was refered to ecu five months back. till date no news. generaly how many months it takes to issue PPR or medicals by ecu.

Out of Imagination does ECU stand for Electronic Communication Unit????

Because the notes specifies that the Visa officers are requesting ECU's to request that means to contact or to communicate to the applicant.

Its out of my stupid brain. If you feel its stupid I apologies.

Hi all & special atention to Mr.Qorax,

Summary of my history:

app filed:07.04.2011,1st AOR:10.05.2011,RBVO:26.06.2011,2nd AOr:18.08.2011,In process:15.11.2011

no medicals yet...i have ordered GCMS on April 16th,2012.got reply on 21.05.2012.

in that i understood that eligibility check & selection finished....this is passed...they gave me 72 points ..funds is ok....

They have sent my educational documents to my university for verification(sent on Nov 18th,2011..just 2 days after my "in process" status) and got reply back and updated in their file on march 2nd 2012 that documents are genuine..IELTS verified and its genuine..

But Security,Criminality & Medicals:Not Started for me and wife as on 15.11.2011..and after that nothing mentioned regarding these all..but in criminality the due date mentioned as 10.05.2012

NOTES

i got reply for my CSE on 23rd of march 2012 that "file is till under review and we shall get back with info as & when required"

And finally a note has been added on 20.03.2012 that "The doc is at LE3 ECU desk and same need to be attached"-what is this?


another note created on 02.03.2012 that pls ignore my below mentioned note(my education document genuity verification report),as we are yet awaiting a reply from one of the authorities

one more note aded in Nov 15th 2011 (my in process date)by an officer that "please issue medicals and PCC ,RPRF,PPT after all other requirements met"

pls tell me what is the status of my application....background & security yet to start or yet to get the report....?

ECU is Economical Class Unit - Located at Local VO - Managing the calculation o Visa Quota.

As per Caipsnotes.com - ECU is Holding Location at Local VO for FSW.


with referance to CAIPS result shared on fourm Majority Prejune files at ECU - may they will decide the priority against Visa Quota.

they are waiting report from one of authorities and then medicals can be issued.
