Hi,

As DestinationBC opined, anything that applies to either of the MI lists would be applicable to each globally. Said that it'd be potent to mention that 2012 shall be the deciding (finalization) year for all the 3 MIs... Most of the file's wait-times & 'work' shall lead to a final determination this yr. It's expected that with 2013 a new chapter in Canadian Immigration shall emerge.

Let me give you guys the exact words written on the caips.
There is complete history of our case. right from the time we sent in our app.
the comments on our application buy the CIO office,
than file transfer details,
details of our complete documents etc(2nd AOR).
all our updates-inquiries-mails sent later, date-wise,
than the words written.

PPTs(new)x1
MEDSx1
RPRF x1

CRIM PASSED x1
Indian Police Clearance certificate received for PA
Foreign travel= NIL
Copies of PPT pages reviewed= no concerns
Personal history reviewed= no concerns

After all the caips i,e computerized information there are scanned copies of all our documents and letters(my whole caips report was a 217 pages document)
Than there is a scanned copy of some IMM 5262(10-1998)c form. It seems some kind of register with my file number on it.


The details in it are in tabular format. I am not able to create it here
Refered to, ----------, Initials, Date, PA(A.Classer),Initials, BF(A. rapeller)

Will write details about it later. The date mentioned seems to be all our BF'Ds. Maybe I am wrong.

It all depends how old is your file and how many family members are included in application as well the activities by VO

Dear qorax, Pl clarify about ECU. CIC is putting ECU as prefix on some files. what does this means? If cic is sending the file to ecu for obvious reasons but why to prefix file no with ecu? It can keep the file no as it is and send it to esu for processing.Your knowledgabe comments please.

Out of Imagination does ECU stand for Electronic Communication Unit????

Because the notes specifies that the Visa officers are requesting ECU's to request that means to contact or to communicate to the applicant.

Its out of my stupid brain. If you feel its stupid I apologies.

1. Yes.
2. ECU isn't instructed, it's a misunderstanding, those r pending clearance from ECU.
3. It always is... till we land.
4. PMB-Ottawa.
5. The file would be opened by the IO, to see progress & work on it.

1. ECU will deep-screen the files then send them back to the IO. IO'll have a final review & request PMB to approve ur meds under RFV. IMM1017S will then be prepared.
2. Depends on workload of the VO... this yr is the deciding yr in any case.
3. Yes, why not. It's unlikely to follow the pre-2008 way, else they'd have added it to that.
