Hi , Jong! Did u receive ur visa? Just want to check the visa validity, if still 1 year from the date of first medical or later date? Thanks!

Hi cristhel,

I sent you personal messages. Why they asked you right away bet option 1 and option 2 treatment? It does mean that you don't need to wait for culture result which is good you save 3 months waiting but bad why your mom still undergo more treatment?

Spend money what important is they can come here as immigrant with your brother choose number1 for peace of your mind.

Hi. I understand visa is stamped from the date of medicals. In the case of TB (my case) will it be the date of my first medical test, the date of 2nd test that included 3 days of sputum or the day result are confirmed as TB free I.e 2 months later?
I'd really appreciate your responses.

Inland applicant po ako pnp pr dito sa canada with work permit.
Narecieve ko na po yung AOR+ UCI ko so I assume na next step is medical
Request. Question is I have a history of ptb and I took 6 months medication.
my scar po talaga lungs ko and sa report po ng medical surveillance na ginawa ko nung
1st month ko dito sa canada inactive ptb po so wala naman po problema
. Question po. Makaka delay ba ng result
Ng medical ko yung status ko ngayon? Need ko pa ba mag sputum or other test?

GOOD DAY TO ALL! Please can anyone help me and share with me any info they have . I dis mg medical exams last april 21,205 all other results were fine but the xrays have reticulates found , i did sputum smear 3x and tested negative but i have received my sputum culture test result yeaterday and the result was POSITIVE FOR MYCOBACTERIA OTHER THAN TUBERCULOSIS. When i texted Nationwide health systems before picking up the results they replied that the cultures were negative of tb. So i was so happy but upon reading positive for mycobacteria other than tuberculosis i was deeply saddened. And now im stressed . I consulted a pulmo and told me she thinks i really dont have tb when looking at the xray . The other specialist told me that mycobacteria are also grown from the saliva of a person so there is a posibility that the mycobac was because the specimen was mucosalivary. Can u please tell me if u have known an applicant of the same case and what did cic do with their application. Will i still be able to have a visa.? Btw i will have the repeat xray on july 22.

hi everyone.

I had my sputum exam last aug 26-28 @ st lukes ermita, and sep 1 they gave me the smear results, its all negative. the pulmo said that i need to undergo treatment even i got a negative or positive smear result. So I did what he said but I chose a private doctor to manage my treatment cause if i choose st. lukes, i need to be in their DOT which requires me to go every morning at their penthouse to take medicines and that also requires me commute everyday from batangas to manila, which for me is stressful and more hassles (money & time consuming). That's the reason Y i chose to be in the hands of a private doctor. the pulmo at st lukes just requires me to submit a med certificate from my private doc that indicates the date start of treatment, brand name and dosage of medicines to take.

so then i went back on sep 3rd and the pulmo at st lukes approved the med certificate from my private doc and then the staff nurse told me that just wait for the instructions of the embassy via email that they will send to know things for the next step. So right now I am just waiting for it and also on my second week of treatment,

Is there anyone here who have the same story as mine?

June 24 Visa on Hand!
July 3 Landed na po ako sa Ontario.. Keep tha faith lang po.. sakatyaga po sa mga medical furtherance

Hello waiting winni. Thanks for the response. Im really nervous and stressed with my xrays. Im currently in NHSI in davao city philippines gor my repeat xrays. I did xrays in a different insitution and the result was negative apicolordotic view but again my sputum sulture result was positive for MOTT. Do u know if being positive of MYCOBATERIA OTHER THAN TUBERCULOSIS will have a negative impact on my application.? Even though im perfectly fit fine and free of any signs and symptoms of a lung infection. Thanks. Godbless. In God's will i will have a normal xray results. Thank u.

So we provided 6 & 9 months old Xray in which Scar was same even the doctor also acknowledged the dame. On 6th Jun'15 my ECAS status updated to "Medical Results have been received" does that mean I've cleared my medical exam without any problem?? Please advice because as off now I've not received my PPR/DM.

Do I need to contact the hospital again for any further action? Moreover, I've not received any "Furtherance" email also after my medical results were received.

Experts please share you thoughts.. I bit worried. I'm not a TB patient or no past history also for TB, it was just an old scar on my Xray.

However, to ease your worries, I suggest to contact the clinic where you had your test and check with them what was the last furtherance request they have received coz I was just lucky that the nurse called me that I have additional test because I didn't receive an email from cic medical. I am just sharing my experience and doesn't mean that it will happen to you.
