Hi, i am also just like everyone in this thread have gone thru the same process. Had our medical done last nov, they found some densities on my right upper lung. I was asked to undergo 3 days of sputum collection. Jan 28 got the result, its negative. Afterwards i was instructed to get clearance from pulmo which i submitted last feb 3. Now i'm in limbo as to what is the next step to do, aside from waiting and praying. Its just so heartwarming to have a thread like this, cause it somehow helps us aspiring immigrants. I read from Anl's post the she got her ppr already. How long after did you get it? Thanks i do hope i could get response from her..:-)

its takes 2 months to wait for your sputum culture then after 1 month repeat xray and pulmo evaluation... If negative its takes 3 weeks then everything is OK.

Hi Guys,

One of my family members got medical furtherance and told by DMP to go for sputum test (3 days)..which got completed in late Jan and after the results all the samples and stains (2, 3, days) are negative...but 1st day stain is negative, but culture came positive for Nontuberculosis mycobacteria....DMP told he will follow this up after the chest x-ray that is pending (to be taken after 3 months since Jan's x-ray) in April (after 6th)

What does this mean? Anybody have any idea...please suggest....now what will be the outcome of my immigration... :( :( :(

Worried a lot... :-[ :-[ :-[....shed some light on this...

Hello All,

Let me share my story with you all.......

My husband filed my sponsorship on March 25, 2013 and the file was transferred to NDVO on April 28, 2013. I did my medicals in Feb 2013

Now after 3 months that was in May, 2013 i was informed of the scar i had in my lungs and i was declared diseased with TB. Now, i had no choice left! i had to undergo 6 months TB treatment which followed by Chest xray, sputum culture etc. I was put on DOT medication for 6 months and on December 11, 2013 my treatment got over. I was declared cured by the DMP and healed Chest Xray reports were sent to the embassy. Now my ecas is reflecting the "Medicals have been received" and that states that the doctors in the embassy have stated me cured. Now, the only wait is Decision made and Visa!! My passport is in the embassy since April, 2013.

Guys, it was a hard journey but keep your spirits high and don't loose hope!! Just like me, you all will have your visas soon. Stay blessed and Good luck to ALL!

I am hoping for my Visa in next month :)

Hello! I'm a silent follower of this thread but I've been a member of this forum for quiet some time now. It was just now that I felt the need to ask kung ano ba gagawin ko next. I just filed my husbands sponsorship papers and I got approve as sponsor last month. The embassy were asking na for my husbands medical so I told him to do it right away. He actually has a history on ptb last 2012 pa and has been cleared after the medication and everything. Nawala na sa isip namin un until nag medical nga sya and nag re-occur ulit ung ptb nya that's after mag sputum test sya. So he was ask to be under medication again for two months then after daw nun they will release a clearance if he is cleared na or what. My question is do we have to inform the cic or embassy about the matter kase nakalagay sa letter nila is failure to provide the medical the soonest time will result in a delay in the application or a possible refusal. Do I have to write them a letter stating what happened or will St. Lukes inform them about the requested medication status? I'm really confused now. Please help..

No need not to inform CIC
but during medical discuss with DMP in detail about total history.
