Hello All,

Let me share my story with you all.......

My husband filed my sponsorship on March 25, 2013 and the file was transferred to NDVO on April 28, 2013. I did my medicals in Feb 2013

Now after 3 months that was in May, 2013 i was informed of the scar i had in my lungs and i was declared diseased with TB. Now, i had no choice left! i had to undergo 6 months TB treatment which followed by Chest xray, sputum culture etc. I was put on DOT medication for 6 months and on December 11, 2013 my treatment got over. I was declared cured by the DMP and healed Chest Xray reports were sent to the embassy. Now my ecas is reflecting the "Medicals have been received" and that states that the doctors in the embassy have stated me cured. Now, the only wait is Decision made and Visa!! My passport is in the embassy since April, 2013.

Guys, it was a hard journey but keep your spirits high and don't loose hope!! Just like me, you all will have your visas soon. Stay blessed and Good luck to ALL!

I had medical on 18th Jan
my and my son got clear but the hospital person called my wife to come for sputun and culture test (she was informed of the scar in xray, there is no any history of such and she had done medical for employement and nothing was found at that time).
now they told the results will took @ 2 months and than they will upload the details
do i need to inform CIC or hospital will inform.
I have send PP and medical receipt on 21st via VFS and hospital call her today on 22nd.

pl advise what to do?

Hi, In my case I asked to the doctors about informing to CIC. They said they already submitted to the CIC and those guys want to see the further test ( Sputum).

After a month I got a letter from CIC informing further test and doctor will submit the results directly to them. One more X-ray after Exact 3 months of the first medical..

Doctor will submit all the final results (sputum and last X_ray) to CIC. Don't worry CIC guys already know, it will take 2 months.

Did they asked u about another X-RAY after sputum results?

Yes after 3 month another xray

I have discussed with many doctors as there is no any symptoms or past history of TB that why this? they told due to some infaciton or any reason 1 in 10 persons have this dots and for that embassy need to check as they cant take chance

3 months time wastage is must. lets hope for good

I asked on the phone they said u have to come here, so I will wait up to FEB 13 when the last X-RAY is.

Its further test they called after the first medical. (Sputum and X-ray test).

There is nothing wrong with disclosing all information, you just have to be prepared. Provide all x-rays or tests done by your family pedia and also be ready with a detailed medical certificate from your doctor regarding the treatment done on your child. It has to include when she was diagnosed, when treatment was started, what meds were given with dosage and frequency. The DMP will determine what tests they need to do for their own records. Just follow what they ask of you because they know best.

My husband is diabetic and just last week the doctor advised him to undergo a cataract removal operation also, I am worried,and plan to delay the submission of my MPNP application because of that. What I'm thinking is that he will undergo first the cataract removal before sending my application.

I am living in Canada and wife is still in India, that medical is for my wife. I read about culture and sputum results too, but fu**** doctor said you will get all the results after two months.

After two months I called him about the results, now he is saying you have to come in person to get the results. Fuck that doctor... different answer every time, If i was there I will saw him how to give respect to others, Never mind I am waiting for Feb 13 when the final X-ray is. We didn't get any call for Positive results from doctor so Hoping everything is fine.

Hi everyone,

I have read every single line in this thread because I am also anxious of how our medical exam went two weeks ago. The clinic forwarded the results to CIC for 3 members of my family except for one. The receptionist there told me it is still for panel physician's deliberation. I am really hoping that they'll act on it asap so that I would know whatever additional requirement they'll ask of me.

My application is under PNP, its different to yours. I got file number and medical after applying of one month.. Nothing started yet, No PPR, No visa.. just file number and my medical is done.
