Does anybody from this forum had the same situation as my sister?
My sister had their medical exam at IOM last January 25, 2016 and they found on her xray a suspicious nodule
She undergo for 3 days sputum test last Feb1-3, 2016 and got a
Call from IOM last Feb.22, 2016 for her re-xray on April 26, but yesterday she got another call (April 4, 2016) from IOM for her to come to the Clinic on friday for the sputum result.. Were kinda nervous about it. Does anyone from this forum had the same situation.. ? Were hoping that she is negative from tb.

don't worry ...... the results take 6-8wks nd if they asked u to come before 6-8 weeks the resuts may b positve but u r not called so ur results are negative .good luck

had my first medical on the 12th of Jan, 2016 and I was called for sputum collection on feb1,2 and 3 due to xray uncertainty.

so, I'm in similar situation with your sister. today marks 9 weeks and the hospital/physician is yet to contact me.

Hi if your xray is clear do they still require sputum even if you got history of tb few years ago..tia

If you have past history of TB, there is very slim to rare chances of NOT having abnormalities in your x-ray. In case, if your x-ray is clear and if you mention the past history at panel physician then you will be refereed for furtherance.

So my dependent has scheduled xray today but the guy in st Luke's clinic told me that they received an email about furtherance medical. I don't know what he was talking about. Is this another exam? Another wait? How come I never received email from Cic about this furtherance medical?

I feel hopeless.

I've Waited 3 mos for all of this , 3 days sputum test, culture and xray today.

Now there's another medical furtherance st Luke's received but I ain't got any.

Help!!!

That's strange. I was given pre-scheduled re-xray date when I had furtherance visit to panel physician. Better call your center and discuss about re-xay asap.

We are a family of 5,our medical was conducted on Mach 30,results of 4 was clear but a daughter has some problem in xray a smear and sputum test was conducted and gave us date for xray on 30 June 2016.
What is the next procedure. She has in good health getting weight and no health issue.

You have to wait for your daughters sputum smear test results.

Hi my son went to a private doctor for his xray just to be sure ..his xray is clear and no scar just like his last xray last 2015 .He was diagnose last 2014 with koch disease and took 6 month treatment.Will he undergo sputum exam ? He will have his medical exam in St lukes and Im a bit worried..and he was only given 30 days for medical exam..tia
