Hi there I applied for my mother's PRTD on December 31, no reply yet.
Her PR card expired in October it was applied in August however IRCC delayed in production for an error on their side.
She has to return to Canada on February 26.
Does anyone have any update how long it would take to get reply from local visa office?
Did you applied as urgent or normal option. And may I ask the country where you applied from?

How can I find their contact please? It only gives name and their constituency.
I am actually looking for 2 areas, saint henri and cote des neiges.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Search by your home postal code.

After out the postal code it did not return anything. H4c2r5
So I searched by location.

Get someone to help you navigate the website. That postal code returns results.

I applied before leaving Canada. So it was applied from Canada as advised by IRCC. I got passport request today.

You aren’t supposed to apply from Canada. IRCC customer service gives out incorrect advice all the time. Your mother seems to have gotten away with it but others should only apply from abroad or there is a chance that the PRTD will get denied.

PRTD is usually processed in the local VO. You can try to submit proof that you need to return to Canada on a certain date but there is no urgent processing. If you have been living in Canada you can try reaching out to yourMP with proof of when you need to return to see if they can help.
Hello @canuck78,
I am still waiting for PRTD application response. the status shows same as submitted.
However, I never found the way to submit a webform without application number and drop list options to update IRCC and local VO regarding lost card.
Should I fax IRCC this declaration below? I hope I am not missing anything important, thanks!

Hello Seemvik,

Please be kind to your fellow contributors on the forum and kindly let us know the status of your online application. Are you back in Canada? How long did it take for the PRTD to be processed? Hope to hear from you very soon, I am in the same situation: I lost my PR card, and applied via the online portal on Dec 29. 2022. I have not heard back yet. Please update on your status.

There should be a way to send it as an attachment

To my understanding, the PR Portal form locks itself after submission, and there is no way to attach extra docs. I have seen web-forms that can facilitate this.

Hi Seemvik!
I am in a similar situation. My wife's PR card has not arrived yet and we are booked to travel to india on Feb 12th to meet an unwell family member.
Could you please help answer a couple of questions, I would be very grateful!

1) What are all the documents/proofs you submitted for urgent processing PRTD online?

2) Did you apply for PRTD before leaving canada? I was advised by an IRCC agent that if I have confirmed flight tickets, I can apply for PRTD two weeks before leaving canada.

Thanks in advance!
