I am checking my GCMS notes and under fees I found this - I believe it is something we have to pay but we have never gotten a letter about it.
PRPF fee - amount required:490$
Amount paid: 0$

Can anybody explain me what to do...?

Thanks

oh, yes and there is also du date for the payment - 2013/03/13 - what was 5 months ago... But how could I know that I have to pay something like that if I never received a latter or e-mail and just now see on my notes... :o

In your GCMS note, in about page number 20 or so, there's a section called "CORRESPONDENCE". In their, check the OUTGOING section and see if it mentions any mail/email sent to you asking for RPRF. if no, then you need not worry, as it is just that CIC has not yet reached that stage with your application.

No, there isn't anything in outgoing correspondence regarding this. But below that fee there is a due date: March 13th, 2013....
GCMS notes also says that even my eligibality is not started - that's why I can't understand why should I pay this even more that I don't know if my application will be accepted.. :-X

Its RPRF (Right of Permanent Residence Fee).
CIC sends out an email request once your file reach positive decision making step. You can however pay this fee in advance and if your application is rejected for some reason, you get the RPRF refund back. Don't worry about the due date in GCMS as it is system generated and act as a guide for Visa Officer. Most applicants with application file date of Jan 2013 onwards have eligibility not started and criminality in process. Hope this helps to alleviate some worries. PR processing could take upto one year or more so patience is the key here ;)
