Thank you very much Daylight_Dream. Yes, I had mine and already landed in Canada. I don't want to rush you or make you worry by my news, but I think you can guess.

However, I think you are fine since CHC gave the decision made for your case. The visa is issued on the day the decision made though the visa is not sent to you for some reasons such that new photo and passport required.

You should receive your passport or a letter from CHC asking to send a new passport soon I guess.

At last we have received our PP with visa after more then 2 months!!! I am so excited. Thank u all for ur information and most of all for ur support.

Hi..J1Visa..Can u share ur landing experience. What the IO asked u after landing? How did u show proof of fund to IO? Should I show only the bank statement? Do i have to write anything on COPR (as i can see some places to fill up).

Hi,

Congratulation! So you have received your PR visa right? I have an official bank check and also a bank statement for proof of fund.

No, dont write any single word on COPR if the immigration officer at port of entry dont ask you to write . They dont ask me much but they dont stamp on my good to follow list. They only write in my current list that there is good to follow later. I dont know whether I will be taxed for my good to follow list. It is easy for landing I think, just bring cash/official bank check (treated as cash) for proff of fund.

Should i take all required money that i declared in their form in cash/official bank check. What is my plan is to take some money in cash and rest I will show in bank certificate as most of my money is in fixed deposit. Is it alright?

If I write things in goods to follow list ....then i bring things years later.... will i be taxed???

The money has to be in forms what can be used immediately in Canada such as cash, bank draft, official bank check, not term deposit. when did you receive your visas and when will you land?
