Hi Please advise on the process of obtaining a Provincial Nomination (I know each Province has their own requirements, but I want to understand the basic process, i.e. does one just apply online as one does for the Express Entry Application, or how does it work, and does one pay a fee, and if so, at what point in the application? Tx

For most provinces, it's a physical application, not online.
You fill in the application, and send it, your supporting documents, and payment to the province.

But as you've said, each province is different. You really ought to find out which provinces you're eligible for, then read the application guide for those provinces.

Hello to all!

Can anyone please inform what provinces are open now for Federal Skilled workers type? seems all provinces need job offer..
What are the ways to get job offer? I understand we can search in job bank, is it sufficient to search jobs only there and apply for those only? Or should I search jobs in Canada in general, i.e. through google...?

No one on this forum has ever received a job offer through Job Bank. You'll need to look elsewhere, but it is very unlikely that you will receive a job offer unless you have a very unique skill set.

At first, Thanks a ton for taking time and reply :)

But what should I do to get job offer then? Any suggestion?

How about provincial nomination? Is there any province that is open for FSW or EE now? After going through some of the threads, my understanding is that only Ontario is open... Am I right? Is there any selection of profession for this province?

My score is 444 and I know it is not possible to be picked from the pool with this score. So all I have is a job offer or provincial nomination. Any suggestion will be heartily appreciated...

That is the question that everyone on this forum would like the answer to. Getting a LMIA-supported job offer in Canada is incredibly difficult.

Ontario is currently closed.
Read through the eligibility requirements for each province: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/summary-of-eligibility-requirements-for-all-express-entry-pnp-streams-t432937.0.html
Discover which provinces you are eligible to apply to, then check the websites of those provinces to see if they are open.
