Hi All,

I have an inquiry with regards to the Invitation To Apply. I understood that in order to obtain a Provincial Nomination, it is better to have an offer from a company. A candidate may also get provincial nomination once in the pool if he is highly desirable and wanted for a specific province. Which brings me to the following questions:

1- What has the feedback been so far on candidate who submit a profile on EE and actually get an Invitation To Apply?
2- In your opinion which sounds like more of a reasonable idea: having a secured job offer from a province knowing that you might get stuck there for the whole period, or submitting a profile on EE THEN hoping to get a provincial nomination from another province?

Looking forward to hearing your feedback,

Many thanks.

1. Yes I got one and so did many others on this forum

2. A real job offer is probably the diamond standard. But it's very difficult to get a company to offer you a job when you are outside the country.

Also you won't be stuck in the job or the province. From what I've seen they really would like you to stick around for at least 2 years but it's not enforced. I've not looked into that much as I do want to move to Ontario

Hi,

I have a question regarding express entry programme.I am on post grad workpermit. I got married in India one month before inorder to apply for PR for my boyfriend also. My family doesn't know about this. My sibling is applying for study visa. In family information form she has given my marital status as single. Is this going to affect when I apply for express entry??

Awaiting your suggestions.

Regards,
Sneha

No I don't see how her application can affect you. However she may be rejected for false information but I highly doubt it.

But no you will be fine... also go tell your family you got married, it'll make your life easier in the long run ;)
