There are people who are authorized by the government to perform notary. You can go to them and get the documents notarized.

Now, the general understanding is when a document is translated, it should also be notarized - this has been the general practice here on the forum. I did not have to translate any documents. So, anyone who might have translated can give you a better insight!

thanks rajkamalmohanram! +1 for you :)

what is SINP? actually I'm not applying for provincial nominee. may I know the basis why you said it is not accepted? can you send the link maybe? most of the comments I read here, EPF were accepted. thanks for your response.

SINP is the nominee program of SK. I sent an email to SINP and they responded that they do not accept EPF

this is bit unfortunate that SINP is not accepting the EPF as POf. did you mention that it is like RRSP in Canada. also did anyone use any cover letter to explain the funds . is there any standard cover letter to refer? anybody can help here with cover letter?
thanks
KK

Hello All,

Guys !! I have some good news with SINP is accepting Provident Fund. Muneer and myself have convinced the director of SINP to accept Provident fund as it a special savings account and can be withdraw once you resign your company or immigrate to a foreign country from your home country. We both have put lot of effort and time and cannot reveal the details in this forum and if anyone needs information on how to convince SINP to accept provident fund from India which is also called as Employee Provident Fund (EPF),
They have also accepted Singapore provident fund

Please email me at : charanyalala@gmail.com, I ill help you folks with letter of explanation for India EPF

Also, whoever application has submitted proof of funds as provident fund and made application ineligible due to that, send request for appeal to SINP with a proper letter of explanation

Regards

Great efforts Charan!

in Feb, I have also written to SINP and they mentioned that EPF will be accepted if it can be verified. so EPF is good to go as POF.

Take care

Any idea about Gratuity fund....

On completion of 5 years in an organization we are entitled for Gratuity, which we can withdraw after we leave the organization. So can we include the same also like EPF....

Thanks in advance

You guys are lucky your provident funds can be used for POF.
Ours in the Philippines can't be accessed until retirement so it's just there for a long while hehe.

Hi Rajkamalmohanram,

Could you please let me know how to get this PF statement ready POF.

Is there any procedure /format that we need to do with the PF office to get this statement??

If so , please share the format for the same.

Your help is highly appreciated.

!!!!!!IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION!!!!!!

I had raised a CSE last month to Delhi Visa Office (India) asking them if EPF can be used as proof of funds. To my surprise, this morning, received a mail from them telling that , YES, EPF can be used as Proof of Funds.

I have added the screenshot in my google drive. You can view it by clicking on the link below.

Somebody might find this information useful. So, I'm posting it here.

Please note that I got this information from the Canadian High Commission in India. This response might hold good only for Indian applicants.

Hi Guys , i am planning to apply for Nova scotia PNP under demand stream. Can Provident fund documents be used as POF ?
Hey even i am looking for nova scotia PNP, d you have info on eligibility criteria, can you apply for Nova Scotia PNP only if you have EE profile, i dont have EE profile as my points are now coming only to 66. Does Nova Scotia have direct PNP? What is the eligibility criteria and how to apply?
