Hi!
I'm returning to Canada after a 2-year working holiday to live with my girlfriend until she finishes next semester when we'll come back here as she spends a working holiday over here in the UK with me. My Eta is approved and I don't need a visitor visa as a UK citizen. However, I was reading up on what to expect upon arrival as I haven't been through the process as a visitor before (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada/prepare-arrival.html) and noticed that I need to convince the immigration officer that I will be leaving upon the end of my approved Eta for me to actually enter the country. Because I'm planning on leaving for an extended period of time I have left work and don't have a return flight as I may extend my stay as a visitor, or we may leave early, depending on how school goes for her. What kind of proof can I provide in order to show them I will be leaving, will the fact that I left upon the end of my previous visa support me in any way? As I am staying with my girlfriend I am bringing very little money with me as her parent's support her other than a monthly allowance from my parents I won't be bringing anything with me. I originally assumed once my Eta was approved I was in the clear now I'm starting to doubt it.
Thanks to any help in advance
