Hey guys,

I just got an ITA and am still awaiting for the PCC from FBI. The package was delivered to FBI on August 10th. So I am expecting to receive a response only around end of October, first week of November. My ITA would expire by then. Is there any way I can get an acknowledgement from FBI that I have submitted my fingerprints? What are others in my situation doing? I just want to make sure all the possible options are available in this thread so that it will help others as well.

Thanks,
Swapnil

I have the same problem. I retained the receipt of my courier that could work as a proof that the PCC has been applied for.
My documents reached FBI on 10th July and I received the ITA on 16th July. I called FBI a few days ago and they said that the processing time is 12 weeks [ in my case, that means 2nd week of October].

I am planning to submit an LOE with the proof of courier delivery & then send the PCC as soon as I receive it.

Hope that helps.

I was really worried that I don't get my FBI identity history by the time I get the ITA. Fortunately it arrived just a couple of days before I got the ITA.
My immigration consultant suggested I submit the following documents if I don't get the FBI report on time:

1- A copy of all the documents I sent to FBI.
2- A copy of my credit card history that shows FBI has charged the processing fee.
3- The receipt from courier that you used to send the documents.
4- The delivery history page if you have the tracking number.

I also sent the documents with FedEx and asked them to send me the signature of the guy who received the documents with an official delivery letter (it is part of their service if you check the box "signature is required").

Hopefully it works.

Thanks for the replies. I have only the copy of the delivery confirmation from DHL. Did not scan the fingerprint documents that I had sent to FBI. Has anyone considered rejecting an ITA, and hoping to receive the PCC by the next time you receive an ITA? Is that a safe option, assuming that my score will be higher than the cutoff again.

Hi Guys

In similar situation...just received my ITA and have to submit my documents by 20th October. There is no chance that PCC from FBI will come by then. Any chance I reject the ITA now?

Any help will be great if someone has faced similar situation

If you have enough CRS score then you can very well decline ITA and you will get it in another draw... or else you can submit whatever proof you have with a LOE ..... this is just my personal opinion....

Hello - I'm new to this forum and wanted to pose a question, somewhat related to the topic of the FBI PCC. My wife submitted her live scan fingerprints but they were rejected, as they could not be read. She then had prints taken by a technician in Calgary who said they were the best he could obtain by ink and roll, but again would likely be rejected as no ridge lines could be discerned. Is there any recourse for her? It is quite frustrating to be considered guilty until proven innocent. I appreciate any feedback or suggestions. Thank you.

I am planning to submit a copy of my FedEx receipt along with an LOE explaining that I will be submitting the PCC as soon as I get it using a CSE.

Hello,

I am also in the same situation as your wife. My husband is the main applicant, we submitted our E-APR on June 07 without my FBI PCC. I got the result from FBI on July saying that my fingerprints had been rejected due to low quality of fingerprints, so I tried re submitting them (sent 3 sets of fingerprints) on July 08. Now we received a letter from CIC regarding my FBI PCC and we only have 7 days to submit it. We are trying to write for an extension and hoping that the CIC officer will grant it and praying to God that my fingerprints this time will be accepted. This is the only shot we have and the my PCC is the only hurdle.
