proof of sponsor's visits

So in the checklist, this section got us a bit confused
  • proof of the sponsor's visits, such as airline ticket coupons or used boarding passes, photocopies of pages of passport for your sponsor showing entry-exit stamps supporting visits, etc. If the sponsor did not visit the principal applicant, an explanation must be included in the principal applicant’s IMM 5532 form (Part C, question 4)
So this section got us a bit confused, I (Canadian PR sponsor) and my wife (US citizen principal applicant). Are doing an outland spousal sponsorship. She visited me in Canada 5 times over the relationship, but I never got the chance to visit since we thought it is a lot more practical if she visited (plus I do have a fear of flying). As someone who needs a B2 visa to visit the US, I applied for it but it's been more than 2 years now and the US consulates have not been issuing visitor visas and are barely opening up interviews for B2 visa because of the Covid 19 pandemic (the closest interviews are all in early 2023). We do still have loads of proof from her visitations (plane tickets, photos, her family visited as well). But I myself have never been to the US. Our files are all assembled and everything looks pretty good so far as we have loads of proof of a genuine relationship. Is the fact that I didn't go to the US because we thought it is a lot more practical for her to come here going to be a problem for our application ?
Also, in IMM 5532 form (Part C, question 4), it says that we only need to fill it up if we haven't visited each other, but in this case she has visited me 5 times already.

Thank you for your answers in advance

I don't think they actually care if the visits only in one direction - except that it means you haven't met friends and family on the other side.

Anyway, just tell the truth and a short letter of explanation about why you couldn't visit her.
