Hi everyone,
I have some questions about showing work experience to CIC.
From Jan 18 to Apr 18, I worked part-time for a restaurant as a chef (NOC B).
Now I would like to include those time in my work experience, how do I show proof to CIC?
They gave me pay stub but I didn't keep those. They'll provide T4 but I'm pretty sure that T4 won't show working hours.
Should I ask them for a employer reference letter that particularly indicate that I worked 200 hours from Jan 18 to Apr 18? Will CIC accept that? Is that everything I need for CIC?

Hi everyone,
I have some questions about showing work experience to CIC.
From Jan 18 to Apr 18, I worked part-time for a restaurant as a chef (NOC B).
Did you also have another job during this period? If you did you can only count a maximum of 30 hours per week which the IRCC take as full time work.
Now I would like to include those time in my work experience, how do I show proof to CIC?
I would have suggested paystubs is there any chance you can get copies from the resturants HR department? It may also be possible to ask your employers for a record of the hours worked from their employee clocking-in equipment.
They gave me pay stub but I didn't keep those. They'll provide T4 but I'm pretty sure that T4 won't show working hours.
You are right the T4 will not have the detail of hours but it is worth including as evidence as IRCC could deduce the hours worked from the hourly rate of pay which should be included in the employer letter of support. Did your employer give you a ROE at the end of your employment as this would give hours?
Should I ask them for a employer reference letter that particularly indicate that I worked 200 hours from Jan 18 to Apr 18? Will CIC accept that? Is that everything I need for CIC?
Yes you could ask for that detail to be included in the employer letter. Also your employer should give detail of the number of hours worked per week. That could be pretty vague as "between 10 to 20 hours per week" but if you worked a regular number of hours each week that could give IRCC more specific confirmation of your hours.

I got a full-time job as an engineer jr from Apr 18 until now. But I am, right now, still working at the restaurant on the weekend. I know CIC doesn't count more than 30 hours per week that's why I didn't ask for that other than the period from Jan to Apr.
In that period, I work at that restaurant around 15 to 20 hours per week (schedule is flexible, it changes every week). I estimated around 280 hours on that period.
Now I'd like to claim that hours to sum up with my 35 weeks of full-time job so far (from Apr 23 til now) (30 * 35 = 1050 hours)
So have 1050 + 280 = 1330. Then I need 1560 - 1330 = 230 hours ~ approximately 2 months more to have enough 1560 hours of work
That's story. Can I think that way?

That seems correct. It is usually recommended that you have a week or two extra to be sure you are over 12months. Your stuation is similar to mine with a combination of part and full time and I have PR.

This is the best comment, the best news that I have seen here. Thank you so much!!!
For sure I will work extra couple weeks to ensure the experience requirement. So what did you actually submit to APR to prove your work experience?

5 letters from employers and payslips. I did not submit T4s or ROEs but had them ready if requested. Good luck for your ITA and PR application.

If the OP is still employed at the restaurant, there is no ROE yet. ROEs are only issued after the termination of employment.

Let's see... you need a total of 52 weeks. You have 35 weeks of full -time experience, plus 9 FTE weeks in part-time experience (280/30=9.3), total of 44 weeks completed. You need 8 more weeks... so, yep, 2 months should do it.

I have one question , webside side you can have one year or 1560hours, if only work 33week, every week 48hours, total over 1560 ,is that ok ? or must over one year?

No - You must work a minimum of 52 weeks full time canadian work experience. As IRCC count 30 hours or more per week as full time. Hours over 30 in any week therefore do not count towards the 1560 total.

[QUOTE =“monkeyspanner,post:7530165,member:697197”]否 - 您必须至少工作52周全职加拿大工作经验。由于IRCC每周计算30小时或更长时间作为全职。因此,任何一周30小时以上的小时数都不计入1560小时。[/ QUOTE]

why? where can find this ? I only find you must have one year or 1560hours

It is not well worded on IRCC site http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=664&top=29
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/pub/cec.pdf

For a definitive answer on IRCC pages click on "minimum requirements" then click on "1 year of skilled work experience in Canada" in this link and look at the last line in the pop-up box. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/canadian-experience-class.html which states "We don't count any hours you work above 30hours/week"

You have to work a minimum of 52weeks full time and a minimum 1560 hours (52 x 30hours). It does not matter if you work 30 hours in a week or 60 hours in a week it will still count as a full time week and you need 52 weeks. If you do a search on this forum you will find numerous answers all saying the same.

In the legislation:

Work in excess
