i got skilled immigration visa for me and for my spouse

in the proof of fund we showed around CAD $ 15,000 but in the fund accompanying we filled CAD$ 8000 so is it OK if we carry $ 8000 with us in our 1st entry. please let me know

Dear Seniors/Qorax need your help guidance on following :

I am planning to land in Toronto around 23rd October and have few question regarding Proof Of Funds at landing :

I had shown 18000 Cad in Proof of funds at the time of medical for me and wife. So is it mandatory to bring in 19,000 or i can bring 13,900 at the time of landing?

Also my wife is pregnant and she is going to come to canada later after delivery of the baby and at that time we will get new visa for the baby. So am i required to show the proof of funds for the baby who is not born yet at the time of landing???

Hi. I just landed last Nov. 2 and my family will follow next year april. Im approve under FSW2 Arranged employment. Does my family need to to show pof upon entry? When I did my landing the IO did not ask for anything.

Since you are FSW2... Did they ask you for POF? I understand we don't need to show any POF for being in FSW2

Hi, I am landing as a QSW Immigrant by next week. I am reading some of the post here and it says about $11,000. I am a bit worried because I only have more or less $8500. I was looking at the cic website but this seems to be applicable for FSW. Also, Quebec as I remember has self-sufficiency contract for single is equivalent to $2800 or $3000 minimum (I think). Can you please clarify which is which? thank you.

Is there any one on the forum who uses the option of goods to follow while landing at Canada. If yes, what is way you chooses to send your items to canada.

Also would any one on the forum would be kind enough to share necessary list of items and house holds items one should take while going to Canada. It is to mention that we are family of three. Husband, wife and kid of three years.

As mentioned by Xorax in the beginning of this thread, bank statement is not recommended. (pls read first post for details)

Dear senior members I received RPRF and proof of funds. I am short of CAD 3500/- from required funds can I deposit these funds now and get only bank letter showing closing balance or should I require 6 months bank statement. Till July-Aug 13 I was in surplus of required funds but for last two moths I withdrawn some money for urgent personal needs. Please guide me I will be thankful to all.
