Proof of income - tax year

Hi all,
We're putting together a family class - spouse PR application. At the proof of income stage, will a notice of assessment from the 2012 tax year be okay or will we now have to wait til we get this year's tax return done to send in our application?

It request ur most recent which since u haven't done ur 2013 then it would be 2012, unless by the time u send in the application u got the 2013 then send it but as of now ur most recent is 2012
