hi please check our proof of our relationship and please give us more advisable proofes we can submit pls.


1. facebook chat logs. 5 pages per year
2. phone bills showing that we're calling each other and we also send the phone contract because I am connected to his plan.
3. Joint bank account, joint credit card and utility bills
4. 2 statutory declaration from my sister and my friend stating that our relationship is really genuine
5. 2 letters he made for me when were both in long distance relationship
6. picture (collage) of gifts we have gave to each other
7. 20 pictures together since 2013 (7 screenshot of video call) and almost 20 pictures together when I arrived here in Canada
8. 10 pictures of wedding ceremony and 10 pictures of reception
9. copy of receipt of marriage
10. copy of our invitation and a picture of our ring
11. receipt of the ring that my partner bought for our wedding and the copy of receipt of the ring he purchased when he proposed to me last 2013
12. copy of plane ticket that will prove that he visited me while our relationship is ongoing and I also included the copy of my plane ticket that prove that I visited him here in Canada
13. marriage certificate and licence and the receipt we paid for the certificate
14. car registration showing that we have a car under our names
15. screen shots of text messages we had
16. copy of plane ticket to USA because were having our honeymoon there on December
17. bus ticket, greyhound ticket, a lot of ticket we bought (even if we dont have names on it we included it)

We sent maybe 20 pictures, email/skype logs, a couple of letters from relatives, plain tickets, bank accounts and our relationship was not questioned.

Haha, well yep, I also thought my nickname could be a nice plate for a car with some beefy V8. ;D
They basically wrote what they know about my wife, their impression with her and how they feel regarding our marriage (my parents and grandmother). I also wrote my own letter about 2 pages long.

Does anyone know if the proof of relationship is evaluated before or after sponsorship evaluation? Basically if you get SA does that mean you won't be called in for an interview or does that get decided at the VO?

That all happens after, SA is just sponsorship approval where they don't even look at the applicant yet.

Gemini020, what kind of proves did you attach to show that you will return to Canada once your spouse gets PR?
After reading the forum, I am contemplating whether I should wait until I am back to Canada or apply from outside.

We haven't send in our application yet. We'll have prove he lived with me for over 2 years, his PR here as my boyfriend and mainly lots of pictures and plane tickets, we've travelled together for about 6 months (one 3month trip). I have prove of him coming on a family 4week holiday and attending lots of family events. I also have some things proving my connection to his family and a picture of our parents meeting. We'll have some letters from our family and friends too.
Depends on what you want. For me not being able to travel outside of Canada is just not an option

I am the sponsor and I currently live outside Canada. But I can't really submit any proof that I will be back to Canada once my spouse's immigration is approved.
So I wonder if we should apply AFTER i am back to Canada (which will only be in 2017 ) or I should apply now.
So my situation is - Canadian citizen living overseas.
