Hello Seniors

I am in slight confusion regarding my proof of funds and I hope you guys can clear it. My scenario is this..

When I send all my documents to the visa office 4-5 months ago, I send two different bank certificates. Now, I received the mail from visa office asking for a new updated reference letter and new proof of funds along with medicals. One of the bank that I use is out of the state bank which will approximately takes 3 weeks to send proof of balance certificate. The other bank is instate and I can get it by tomorrow. I have enough funds on the instate bank but I have recently transferred my funds from checking to savings. Previously, I have shown my funds certificate from checking now I have to do it fom savings which I know is two different account.

Do they care if I send my proofs of fund from saving rather than checking even though I have previously send it from checking?

Should I wait for three weeks and get another proof of funds from my other bank; since I have also send theirs certificates as a proof of funds earlier?

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi

what I understand from their website and this forum is that they don't care about the exact account No. or it is checking or saving!what they are asking you now whether you have the money you claimed before or that was only a money that you borrowed from somebody and u don't have it anymore! SO my suggestion get from your instate bank a proof of funds with amount near or higher than the amount you showed before.

I agree with your position. Its a smart way of checking you up. provide all that you have. just make sure that you are not going to make fresh deposit as that will raise suspicion.
All the best
