proof of funds

I have a govt. job in my country.(BANGLADESH)
Can i show my PF & pension money as proof?
When i will quit my job then they will give me this money.

Hi there

CIC wants unencumbered $$$ or asset- those have no loan or no credit.
they want $$$$ which you can transfer to Canada in a short notice, as Bangladesh is placed among top 20 corrupted countries ( Source- Transparecny International) of the world, its hard to believe that someone could transfer their pension and provident fund money from the heart of the government in such a short time.

isteak007 , it may be tough to use your PF and Pension as POF. You need liques instruments, casd, FD etc as POF funds. But this is my personal opinion lets wait for others to comment

I have a colleage who is from BD, he was a doctor in IPGMR, he couldnt bring his pension and provident fund due to the various bureaucratic bottlenecks mainly the bribe which he didnt want to give to the corrupted govt officials. As ankit and others said, you need fresh money. like your curretn or savings, Trav Cheques, Prize Bonds etc.
