Proof of Funds letter

Hi All,

I have got a Proof of funds letter from Bank here in US last week.
They have mentioned the date account was opened along with the current balance as well as average balance for six months.

They were not willing to add my credit card details there so i have only got it for my checkings and savings account.

Balance is more than what we need to show. Is this letter enough or should i attach the online bank statements with this letter as well?

It will be better to attach the bank statements as well.

I just used the bank letter. That's what they asked for.

Chase Bank also offers this - I have my account with Chase and they mention balance for 12 months - I asked them for 6 an they said thats the standard format. I was not expecting they will provide it but was pleasantly surprised they do for immigration. They offerred it to me for a bank loan in India for proof of address so I know I can go back to them for the same once I get ITA.

Thanks ! Unfortunately my smallest account is Chase. All funds are in Bank of America. I will inquire and post the findings here for the others.

I also have a Checking account with Chase. I am assuming you requested their Customer Care helpline for the letter. How long did it take for the request to be processed?
