Yes you should make sure sufficient funds (as per CIC requirements) are available in your bank account. Also, CIC checks the average funds in your bank statement for past 6 months. If large sum of money has been deposited into your account recently, then you will need to provide reasons and explain the source of funds.

Having sufficient funds is a major criteria.

You do not have to wait for 6 months. Continue with filing the application. Just be ready to explain to CIC if they ask for why large deposits were done and its source. Definitely do not wait 6 months.
If you have not borrowed money for immigration purposes and funds are yours, it should be fine.

I took a car loan in Canada for buying a brand new car. Does that come under the debt? So i should be clearing all the debt for $30,000 before showing them the proof of funds
