Proof of funds for visitor visa

Hi.

I have following queries regarding visitor visa.

My wife has been selected for scholarship in Quebec and the funds for the same will be paid by the funding agency on monthly basis. The stay will be for 6 months. Since we have 3 months old baby, it will diificudi for the baby to live without her mother. So baby will accompacc her mother and my mother will also accompany my wife to take care of baby as wife will be busy in research project.

The visa application file and work permit for my wife has been processed and she has got her passport stamped with visa.

1. My query is, do we need to show the proof of funds for the baby? If yes, then can we show the wife's scholarship as a proof of fund?

2. Can we show wife's scholarship as proof of fund for my mothers visa application as my wife will accompany her during their visit?

3. Can we show funds available in my and my wife's account as a proof for visa application for my mother?

4. Can we show the fixed deposits, Insurance policies in which my mother is declared as the nominee?

Please help me out as i am in lots of confusion.

Unfortunately your plan has a lot of problems. Your mother will need to show that she has enough of her own savings, strong ties to her own country and a travel history to other countries like the US, UK, etc in order to qualify for a visa. She would also not be able to work and caring for a grandchild is considered work.
