Proof of funds and an intra-transfer

I'm looking to get an intra-transfer for my job under NAFTA. From what I understand I won't need a LMO if CIC accepts my work permit application after I apply. Anyway my question is will I still need proof of funds when I arrive at the border if I go this route since I'll already have a job lined up (and a car with possibly a rental already in place as well)?

I believe proof of funds is not very important as you already have a job.

POF is not needed with a job offer/transfer. Hope the NAFTA thing works out for you. I'm trying to go the same route (job offer, not a transfer). Best wishes.

Thanks, I was thinking it wouldn't be that important as I already have a place to stay when I arrive and a job.

Wideopenspaces good luck to you as well. I'm writing a letter that goes into detail on why I should get a transfer using the intra-transfer and hoping it'll help with my application.
