Hi! I am under a common law relationship. Unmarried, and my ex partner was the main applicant under a student pathway visa. I came here in Canada last November 2, but my partner surprisingly ended our relationship (November 23). I have a valid open work permit with the same expiration of his Student visa on September 2022. Is there anything I should do? As my current status is under him.

Wrong forum to ask. But here's your answer:

Your work permit will stay valid for the entire period. You won’t be able to extend this work permit when it expires, but you may be eligible for another type of work permit.
