Hi everyone

I have concerns in completing these documents as work experience:

1. I worked as an OR nurse only for 7 months in a private clinic so I was not given a certificate of employment. I wouldn't be able to state this as one of my experiences right?

2. My problem with my previous employer from Saudi Arabia. I worked in a private hospital. I was only issued a certificate of employment for my end of contract (2010-2013) but when I asked for an updated copy with complete information he refused to give me one. Can i just pass the old one? I have a recommendation letter coming from my medical director as well but I couldn't get a new one either. We were also paid in cash basis so I dont have a pay stubs. What can I do more regarding this issue? Please help.

1. CIC just goes by what the document says and hence if you do not have any kind of document at all to prove your employment, then you cannot claim it.
2. I hope whatever document that was issued to you contains the roles and responsibilities listed out that matches to the one's of your chosen NOC. If not, try getting a new letter. In worst case atleast a letter saying they will not issue such letters, then you can have atleast your one of your boss or colleagues sign your self-prepared Roles and Responsibilites letter in the presence of Notary and have them notarized. You can try submitting it.

So, if I send along with the certificate of employment a statement of roles and responsibilities in a plain paper given by my head nurse will that be enough? If not, I guess I will just rely my present job as my only work experience.
