Professional Accountants that practice as Financial Managers

Can anyone give me information on how professional accountants that are financial managers can adapt to the Canadian system and get good jobs. Input on how to train and be registered as a professional accountant or Certified Financial Manager will be appreciated.

From the information available to me, you may need to get additional certification from CIMA to increase the chances of getting better jobs.

I thought there is a system whereby people with professional accounting qualifications in their home country can be certified and practise as professional accountants in Canada.
