Does anyone know what's next? Is the strike still on? My skilled working visa should have been processed as of November last year and its still not done. I went and had my medical even though I'm waiting to hear to go and get it done as I'm tired of waiting and sent an email saying all my visa details and only got a (processing) reply. Does anyone know what the best thing to do next is? Or is it just a have to wait now time? Any reply would be appreciated thanks

I think we need to write a letter to the Ministry of inmigration. A complaint will be the best thing to do!. They are public servants not gods!. They must serve to the people, some of us watch them like untouchables!

Unfortunately, I don't think they give a f*** about the complaints coming from non-Canadian citizens. The best thing to do would probably be to ask anyone you have on the "Canadian" side (employer etc.) to file a complaint. I have done the same, and also sent emails to all kinds of newspapers and journal editorials to write about this situation in order to increase the publicity and awareness of the public. Unfortunately, Canadian government has really not proved to be up to task to deal with this situation, but they are the first one to blame.
