These are for the 12 months up to March 31, 2012. Measured in number of months from the time the overseas processing centre receives the application from Mississauga. For example, 50% of the cases were processed in x months, while 80% of the cases were processed in y months. The figure y would include the cases from figure x.

so does this mean only 16 out of the 744 applicants were finalized in a year? (using Kingston's stats)

Blondie, it means that 80% of the 744 applications were processed in 16 months.

thanks Tinytortoise got that answer!! Also found stats that have different numbers from the same link he gave.. Seems as though it's now 80% in 22 months..

This list doesn't add up...

For Manila - 20% = 3, 30% = 4, 50% = 5, 70% = 6, 80% = 8, TOTAL - 2,261

20% = 452.2
30% = 678.3
50% = 1130.5
70% = 1582.7
80% = 1808.8

Although 20% and 30 % add up to 1130.5, the rest get mixed up.....example, 1582.7 - 452.2 = 1130.5.

So the final conclusion I make is that the only numbers that can be considered accurate are the 20% and total, because if subsequent percentages include previous percentages, it is not Representative of the actual number being processed in x months or y months.

To make this list accurate the percentage calculations above need to equal the total.

I mean no disrespect, and I really appreciate your help, but I see this as confusing.

Cheers!

As the OP says The figure y would include the cases from figure x. so cases processed within 5 months would include all results prior to 5 months and cases processed in 7 months would also include results prior to that. Therefore although it is somewhat confusing you can see that the percentage increases as the months increase at all VO's.

Example for my VO (London)

20% 30% 50% 70% 80% Tot
London - RPC 3 4 4 6 7 1,376

Running total 275.2 412.8 688 963.2 1100.8

With a calculator and the details above you can work out exactly what is happening in subsequent months after 20%. Example to work out how many cases are processed in month 4 you minus 275.2 from 688= 412.8 (as 30% and 50% occur in month 4 you can see a further 412.8 cases are resolved in that month) Also in month 6 you minus previous totals so..... 963.2-688= 275.2 cases resolved between months 4-6 :D

Hope that helps explain the table a little better. ;D

I realize the OP states that, it just seems like an overly coincidental resultant for my VO when I use that:

Eg.
20% 452.2 452.2
30% 678.3 226.1
50% 1130.5 452.2
70% 1582.7 452.2
80% 1808.8 226.1
1808.8 Total

This uses the subsequent value minus the previous, and sure the total equals the 80% value.......but don't the results seem strange? (maybe I'm trying to hard to NOT believe the 50 and 70% results....haha)

Lol but it looks like Manilla has 1 of the best and quickest VO's on the list, it is virtually identical to London VO which I know is 1 of the quicker VO's. All the best ;D

As someone already mentioned it would be nice to know the amount of staff at every VO, because for the total applications compared to months processed Havana not so good......but New Delhi...WOW, they must have a small IO army, and are pumping out like mad!

Best of luck to you too!
Cheers!

Because people from certain countries get ppr very quickly don't assume that the reason for this is because there case has been processed. 1 of the reasons ppr is done so early in stage 2 is because that stops people moving and settling in Canada whilst their application is being processed and not returning if their application is denied. An early PPR may not be a sign that the process is finished it is Canada's way of saying that until the process is completed we would rather you did not visit our country

I understand.....but I don't see how that affects many of the countries that are not visa exempt....in fact it just gives them false hope.

Yes correct it gives them false hopes and some people who are visa exempt think that their case has been processed. Look at Delhi's figures above and yes they are fast but Manilla, London and others are almost as fast. I think that a lot of people think that PPR is nearly the end of the process but looking at a few New Delhi threads the VO sometimes has their passports for more than 3 months which I think is totally wrong ;D

That is so true, I wondered why they may ask for the passport so early and take so long to send it back. you would think that by asking for the passport, they were finished when in actuality they probably weren't..

Way to long to have someone's passport!
