I'm hoping CIC approves my status restoration so that I can be here for my first Canadian Thanksgiving, and so I can celebrate my US Thanksgiving here too! haha I'll be very sad if I have to return home and be alone for the holidays =( I don't even know how long they take to get back to you about status restoration/extensions, does anyone know?

80% of cases in guatemala get approved in 23 MONTHS?

Honestly, how does someone expect you to wait almost 2 years.

I guess Inland is the better option with this country

Thanks again!

When I download this document and check, I realize only 57 people applied last year (12 months before March 2012) in my country.... ONLY 57?? :o :o That's so few! Somehow it makes the 30% processed in 8 months look better: 18 out of 57 people got their PR in 8 months, with a higher chance to be 1 in 3! This is great news to me!

great list! thanks for sharing!

Note that at an average work week of 40 hrs per week, and 4.33 weeks per month given the 57 apps.....that gives only 1 VO 24.33 hrs to complete all 57 applications.....seems like a lot of time to me.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean-- 1 visa officer takes an average of 24.33 hrs to complete 1 application?

And anyway, I read somewhere that those numbers can be misleading. My VO takes 15 months to process one app, so the real number of apps being processed will be clear with a 15-18 month delay. That is to say, 57 people that applied that year got their approval within the same year they applied, whereas the other 230 (approx.) got it between 12 and 15 months.

I really, really hope I'm one of the 57...
