processing time more than a normal time

anybody who have applied in may 2017 and get passport request or visa???
i have applied trv online application on 16 may 2017 and bio matric on 18th of may 2017 but still did not get any reply from embassy my case is in background checking its now more than 4 months case is in processing
so will they ask to submit passport for visa or not ?
need your views

Same here. I applied on May 14, 2017 (online). Medical was requested on June. August 12.. checking the background. Since then, no update.
I sent a case inquiry on Sep. 2. No reply.

i applied TRV in VFS Lahore on July 17, 2017 and till today nothing response. If any one has applied in July and he has passport return back; please share timeline?
