Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

Seems like they are too busy processing the backlog. The liberals ordered them to finish all the pending applications by December. Maybe thats why they are not updating.

A question, is prearrival service mendatory? I havent done anything towards it. I wonder if that will affect my application process. I lived in Canada for the past 9 years and I dont really need someone teaching me about Canada cuz I already know every cracks and crevices back home(pretty much).

As per my understanding it’s optional.. like it doesn’t seem mandatory.. but you know just a feel good factor ..
