One of my friend submitted on Friday and still have not received it. So just trying to assume the timeline; how many days it takes. I am waiting for my PPR

I took us about a week for them to return the passport but some people have got theirs within 2 working days.

Hi,
My husband got a call from VFS office to pick up his passport Before we book the flight, do we need to wait for a document called Confirmation of Permanent Residence? If so,does anyone know if this document comes separately or together when he picks up his passport?
