Any Colombo applicants?any updates??my status changed into in process that means I approved as sponsor?

My status change to in process in Jan and they have requested me to submit police clearance and redo medical. So i did and submited feb end. Still waiting for call or email from canada high commission.

I am colombo applicant and if it is changed to in process means they have start to check you files. They will update you in email or by phone call. So wats your timeline?

Yeah application filed on 23.12.2015 AOR received 12.2.2016.ecas updated on 3.3.2016

okay so they will take 4 to 6 weeks to email or calyou. And mostly they will email you i mean your spouse who live in srilanka and did ur spouse submited police clearance snd medical?

Yeah we submitted medical a everything except police clearance..we recently only got pol.clearence..if they ask we l submit

How long they will take process visa?cic website says 17months..and so many didn't even get visa who spied before us?? any idea..since u r senior n this matter m asking u

I am also from srilanka... usually it wont take take more than a month. Please goto colombo police headquater directly and check the clearance. Or call the number on the receipt and check what happen.

For me last year i applied for clearance and i didnt get for one and half month then i went to headquater and they said from one place where i lived From there they didntt fax...So i went to that area police station and suggested them to send the clearance they said they hav sent already. But after few days again i went to headquaters but they said the same. I got irritated and went to that station again and then they checked and and said sorry that they kept some where in the table and forget to send the fax. they are sometimes very careless.

So please visit the headquater colombo and clarify the details
