Our status changed to decision made today, and it says they will get in touch with my husband!!!! Hope it happens on Monday...

Mayflower - they will send an email to your husband requesting passport. then he has to bring his passport when he bring his passport tell him to take two photocopies and bring them with it. then, VFS a private company will call him to go pick up the passport with visa. tell him to keep an eye on the phone because my husband missed the call. even if he missed the call just tell him to go to the VFS office and pick up the passport.

My husband landed in canada yesterday and everything was smooth. He will get his PR card in 8 weeks time.

Hi Guys, My application was received by CIC on April 13th, 2015. I received the AOR on June 16th

Just to give some background to where I am at right now.

Sponsorship Application Status - Decision made
PR Application Status - Application Received, Latest Update: Medical results have been received.

The VO in Sri Lanka contacted my wife to verify some information last week, like her date of birth etc.
Now they have requested copies of the "Alteration" pages from her PP. There is nothing written or stamped on those pages.

She has submitted those copies last Friday.

Are we doing good?

Hi Tranjini. Thanks for the information!!! Unfortunately, my husband has not yet received the email. I am starting to worry, because I have read in the forum that if CIC changes your status to decision made prior to PPR, it may indicate a rejection. But I'm trying to stay positive because my husband received that call that implied he will be getting PPR in the next two weeks. I guess I have to just wait it out. Hoping for the best!

If they said he will receive an email for PPR. I am sure you will get the visa. I am scared though. But if the lady on the phone said ppr will come then, we don't need to worry.
