Hi guys,

On average, how long does it take the VO to review the additional documents and provide us with a response?

That depends on the type of document they requested.

In my case, NOA, employment letter from employer, my husband's NIC.

These documents should have been submitted along with your initial application. Therefore, they are now asking to submit them to continue with the processing of your application.

I already submitted them, hence why I received my SA initially. They requested me to resubmit the same documents. Does this mean that they are close to finalizing PPR?

Mayflower I had the same question. You know I am confused. people who were asked additional docs were not updated on efile as "in process". I heard seniors say that the efile has to say, "in process" then decision made. I donno if they are doing it without that now.

Hi Guys!

We received AOR 2 today!

And also requested to submit the police clearance (Singapore) & few documents from sponsor! Hopes everything going in the correct way! :)

Yes that is what I am confused about. My status still says "Application received", but clearly they started processing my application.

Until they receive the requested documents they won't update as in process. Nothing to worries about the ecas at this time. Because we received reply from colombo vo.

Keep our finger crossed until we received PPR.

may flower:

when they send you to send more documents they gave your husband a new UCI number put that in and put his birthday and last name

the file will show the file is in process i just found that out today.
