Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

Hello,

I would like to know if anyone has sent the application on or around August 15th, 2013, because that is when my spouse application was sent, If any one around that date please let me know so that we could correspond with each other and get to know more details. That would help either of us a little.

Additional documents requested - Oct 15th

Okay, good to hear that. Hope we get it soon, from past threads I think they are still working on June - July files.

We cant be luck as you Ajarupan. You got your AOR on the same day as you filed. Almost everyone is waiting 30 days. Hope you get your visa before end of this month and we can feel confidence too

I made a mistake on one of the form. Instead of 2012, it was typed as 2013. I already submit the form and it has not moved to Sri Lanka yet. Can anyone know, how can I resolve this issue?

You should be able to resubmit it to CPC-M before it gets transferred to Colombo. Just call CIC and notify them so they can put a note on your file, then send the corrected form as soon as possible to CPC-M

Yes I think collier mention that they normally check in Canada. Will see, i do not have a proper full time job, so yea

but in somewhere (i cant remember where) they have mentioned that how much income you should have for the annual.
if your income is not enough to bring your spouse to canada, they will refuse you.
check it from somebody else too

Thank you but I called CIC and spoke with them regarding my school. They said I should be okay and I wrote a letter to them with that. I should be fine. Thanks for your effort and time.
BTW, when u r with a child, it is different compare to myself.

Income won't be an issue and all they need to know is how u gonna support ur spouse.
If I give explanation and proofs then I should be fine
