My husband and I did it together :) Sorta wish I had gone through a lawyer as stage 2 is bit more detailed....
I didn't think it could make a big difference if you go through a lawyer. what do you mean by stage 2? and how would a lawyer help?

We got our Re-Meds at the beginning of March and husband did them 2 weeks ago so just waiting now. Also we were asked to completed a declaration form which would state all the countries that he has been living in including Canada. I spoke with a lawyer who suggested that we should get the police clearance ready which we have so now just waiting for some news.

Hi Mel
What's happening with your husband's case? Isnt it high time he got his visa?!!!

Meds done in March. Recieved by embassy end of April - early May so still waiting.

to get helpful tips to avoid interview. stage 2- PR process. Sounds much more painful than the first process.

wow! congratz! I am really happy for you!

hey i wanted to ask you...i hired this lawyer to appeal also i had already paid him almost 1000 but he is asking for another 500 so that he can apply for the ADR. Is it true that the lawyers can actually apply for the ADR? or does it automatically happen from the appeal board? I just feel like this lawyer is just asking for money after money even before getting a date for ADR. Please ADVISE

done. I notice that you have a column for AOR communication from VO. What is that exactly? My husband got an email yesterday for to submit the original copy of marriage certificate; which means they are checking for missing documents as soon as they receive it.
