Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

oops ok . nothing rathika.. feel very bad .its not 65 days its been 72 days since he did the remed .i go crazy . cant control myself thinking and worrying about wts gonna happen .no news even after my ecas changed to in process and started processing feb 10th .people in this forum got ppr call after few days of ecas change. why why why not for me ?? i emailed them but no reply .. if it was an urgent mail they would have replied but now i dont know whether i can email them again or not .

hey sharmi please dont be upset i used to be like you as well..........but i over come all...when they stopped replying for my e-mail i would sign in to my hubby's e-mail and send an e-mail from his account and with in a day they replied so maybe u can try that.don't worry to much i have a feeling u almost their..maybe a week or two..hang in their u have came this far don't let go now and lose urself...gd luck keep me posted......god bless everyone

my Ecas sux max. BTW, Vaali, ur husband has a status with medical so it seems that their r working on it, but there's nothing under my status than the usual one.
Yes sharmi, she lives in Montreal.
I live in East n I guess it depends on how many plalaces where the applicant used to live in coz they may need to do the background check ups n that, But I m not sure about it. I just reckon that it may be the reason why they ask the applicant to submit the police certificate since 18y. I recently noticed that they want the report since birth from SL applicant. I feel sorry coz I took the report since 18. Never know wotz going to happen.
Hope sharmi is going to stop panicking soon.

How are you guys? I check this forum so often however didnt posted anything last few months.
Wow...it takes this long for some ppl? I feel so bad that colombo treat ppl in different way. Some get the visa in 6months...some gets in 1 yr and too long for some. They should treat every one in same way.
I think it is good idea to not to bother colombo by email. I did alot before...but some of my friends didnt bother colombo and got visa so fast.
I pray for you guys...hope all get good news before Tamil new year.

Hello Everyone!!
Sorry I haven't updated in a while! Still no PR, but hubby got visitor visa extended. They gave him another single entry visa for 6 months. Although right now he's going to have to make trip for work on the 10th of March. Once he reaches Sri Lanka, he's planning on applying for visitor visa again. Not sure if he will get it or not, but we're going to try anyways..
When we renewed his visa, he had to redo his medicals which he did a couple of weeks ago. I was told that this would also update his PR application. So I'm hoping that we can get everything sorted out soon. It's been close to a month now, so still waiting!
For everyone out there, hang in there and stay strong. We all know how difficult and frustrating this process is. I personally have cried myself to sleep many nights before hubby got here.. So trust me when I say that I feel your pain.. Just keep praying and stay busy. This forum is so so helpful so make use of all the info on here.. But don't get too carried away because it will drive you NUTS!!
The moment I know more on hubby's visitor visa and/or PR I will update you guys.
