Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

Wotz up with u sharmi? One of my friends has a same issue like urs. Hez been waitin for the reply since he did remed recently. No worries u r gonna be fine soon. hopefully they r going to call u this week, I guess.

Does any one know where I have to go if I wanna hand over any missing documents like re med report, or Police Report in Colombo? Let me know the exact place whether it is

omg! omg! Sharmi im soooo happy for you!!!
i was a little busy with school...and i was just thinking Sharmi must have got the visa and i came and looked and, yes you have!!!!
so ur husband didnt even have an interview!!!
atlast! ur wait is over...it must have been really hard not seeing ur husband for a year.

@ Frust, its the 5th lane address now...my husband went there on Tuesday to give his police report...they had said his file is still in the que.

hey guys how are you all? hope everyone is fine..just wanted to give an update i will be leaving to srilanka on tuesday march 6th.........it was suppose to be march 19 but i cant wait any more miss my hubby so much so that is why i have decided to go early...i'm so excited to seeing my hubby........i want to wish every one a fast process hang in there guys you all gona get through fast....keep this forum alive.......keep updating may god bless all of u..

@vali -thanks dear . ya thank God no interview. u know , my hubby went there on tuesday mor to check his file the lady who was there told him that his file was done and it was with the visa officer and visa officer will call in 2 weeks .we thought omg another 2 weeks. but he got call just after 2 hours .
@Rathika - have a nice journey , and have max of fun there . ur in my prayer .

Quick Update - Our file just went to "In Process" I checked earlier this week and it was still processing and some time during the week, i guess the status had changed! We are excited to see if this means our wait is over.

Rathika have a safe journey!! I was just looking at the thread and when I started it way back when and it was just a few of us! Now some of us are done and more have joined in.. So happy that the thread could be a source of support to everyone that needed it or needs it presently.

So another status change - They added on that they have started processing our file on Feb 28th. Hubby is leaving next week for Colombo and he will immdiately apply for Visitor visa as he lands because he is going on some urgent work. I just wanted to know what the chances are of getting the PR then.. And how long does it take to get the PR once the status has changed..

Any ideas??

my husband did the re do medical last month. How long does it take to get the visa after re do medical

please let me know, if any one know about it. i am waiting to join with my husband more than 3 years and 6 months
